Business Manager Assistant Ad

Cumulus Media, parent company of radio stations WFAS AM & FM is searching for an Assistant to the Business Manager for its radio station cluster in the Westchester market. This individual should possess an extremely good work ethic, be a self-starter, and highly organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced office environment. Experience should include knowledge of accounting functions (AP, AR, Payroll, etc.), all Microsoft Office applications, and credit & collections. This individual will be responsible for preparing and printing a variety of reports for the market, invoice distribution to various clients and advertising agencies, posting cash payments, and other business office related tasks. Great opportunity to learn the financial side of the radio broadcasting industry….experience preferred, but not required.

Chief Engineer:
Cumulus Broadcasting of Danbury, CT is currently looking for an outstanding Chief Engineer to join our winning team. If you strive for proactive hands-on maintenance, internal customer service, project execution, and daily technical operations of multi-station cluster, we would like to talk to you. Ideal candidate must have a collaborative approach, the ability to prioritize, positive ‘bedside manner’ and strong sense of urgency.

Responsibilities:
Install, Maintain, and/or Repair: AM & FM transmitter sites and equipment, Studio locations and equipment, Remote broadcast equipment, Satellite receiver systems, Internet streaming systems, Internal network administration and helpdesk, Office and studio telephone systems, Manage and update facility documentation, 24/7 on-call duty. Qualifications: 3- 5 years experience in broadcast radio engineering
Demonstrated successful experience with, and knowledge of: - High power FM and directional AM transmission systems; - Studio analog and digital audio systems; - Strong overall electronics troubleshooting ability; - Excellent IT skills, experience with Windows Server networking desired; Must be able to work effectively unsupervised, Have excellent English communications skills, Excellent organizational skills, Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs, Ability to climb ladders and work on elevated surfaces, Valid and clean driver’s license, must provide own transportation. Relevant work experience considered. SBE certification preferred.
